I'll get back to video after work, but before that?
"I’m in the midst of quitting vaping (again), so apologies for even worse thinking than usual; I am wearing two maximum strength-nicotine patches!"
Dude, go with nic-pouches. They are tasty, tobacco-free, and there are some studies which suggest nicotine can actually be beneficial in a non-tobacco format.
Anyhow, just a thought to throw out there... good luck! :-)
I love nicotine! I don't actually have any plans to ever stop using patches, should this take (day four today, going all right so far); I really do like it for me for a few reasons, I think legitimately!
The reason I stayed away from pouches is that I used to dip for years, and I have this problem with any nicotine method I can control the rate of: I wind up doing it absolutely non-stop. I used to fall asleep with dip in my lip! So I went with the patch since it's sort of fix-it-and-forget-it, and I can have it on 24 / 7 e.g. without being that dad who is always, always nicotine-maxing lmfao!
Ah, then that's a different animal. I haven't dipped since my teens, when I was playing baseball (as all the cool players were at that time), so while I never developed the habit I can completely understand why you'd avoid pouches.
As a 40 year cig smoker (quit five years ago) the pouches have been my go-to, as I also love nicotine and refuse to give it up. So I reckon we are on opposite ends of the same challenge :-)
Best title for anything I’ve seen in some time.
“Having to come into contact with my own authorship of my life” is a particularly eloquent way to describe this.

Hope the patches work out for you!
You know how every court needs a jester and every court needs a wizard? Imagine if there was a continuum between the two. It could be you.
